FAQs

If you have any questions that aren't addressed here, please let one of us know!
Question

Important Dates:

Answer

Sunday, February 1, 2026: RSVP deadline. If we don’t hear from you by then, we’ll assume you won’t be able to join us and we won’t be able to reserve you a seat at the wedding. Saturday, February 7, 2026: Reservation deadline for our hotel block. Please see the travel page for more information! Sunday, March 8, 2026: The Big Day! See you there?

Question

What if I missed the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Our RSVP deadline was February 1, 2026, and we understand that life gets busy. Because we must finalize our guest count and seating arrangements by this date, we’re unfortunately unable to accommodate guests who did not RSVP on time. While we’ll sincerely miss celebrating with you, we’re not able to make exceptions or add guests after the deadline. Please know this decision wasn’t made lightly, and we’re so grateful for your love and support from afar.

Question

What should I do if I know I can't attend?

Answer

If you won't be able to join us, please let us know in advance by responding "No" when submitting your RSVP.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends dressed up with us! We are requesting black formal dress code for the evening. For men, this means black suits, or button down shirts and dress pants with a tie or bow tie. For women, black floor-length gowns, elegant cocktail dresses, or dressy jumpsuits are appropriate. If you're unsure, it's always better to be slightly overdressed than underdressed! Help us create a timeless, sophisticated atmosphere by joining in the all-black look.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We’re keeping this day intimate, so we can only accommodate the guests listed on your invitation. If you received a plus-one, it will be noted there.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, we’ve chosen to make this an adult-only celebration (with the exception of our flower girls and ring bearer).

Question

Is the hotel far?

Answer

Not at all! The hotel is just a short walk from the venue: 4 minutes: Courtyard Atlanta Decatur/Emory (130 Clairemont Ave, Decatur, GA 30030). For more information on our hotel block, please visit our travel page. There is also a Hampton Inn & Suites Atlanta Decatur/Emory location on the same street. We don't have a room block with this hotel but it is another option for traveling guests.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes. There are several public decks nearby with over 2,000 spaces: One West Court Square Parking Deck (158 W Ponce de Leon Ave, 3–4 min walk) — with validation available at the venue. DeKalb County Courthouse Parking Deck (125 W Trinity Pl, $6, 4–5 min walk).

Question

Can I take photos?

Answer

During the ceremony, we ask that you be fully present with us — so no phones or cameras, please. Our photographers will capture everything, and we’ll share the images with you. At the reception, feel free to snap away! We just ask that you hold off posting photos of us (the bride and groom) until we’ve had a chance to share first.

Question

Will there be an after-party?

Answer

There are a few bars/pubs that are open late in the downtown Decatur area. After the reception is over, you are more than welcome to continue the party!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before the ceremony to allow time for parking and seating. The ceremony will begin promptly — and once it starts, late arrivals will need to wait until the reception to join us. We want you there for the whole moment, so please plan to be on time.

Question

Are food and drinks provided?

Answer

Absolutely! All food and drinks will be provided. We will have light bites during cocktail hour, buffet style dinner, water/soft drinks and a bar for guests.
