We will be cruising the beautiful blue waters of the San Francisco Bay onboard the Merlot, a 90ft yacht from the Luxe Cruises fleet! The ceremony will take place on the Top Deck, with the reception to follow immediately after. Guests are welcome to explore the entire yacht during the reception!
Push off is promptly at 12:00 pm, so we encourage all guests to arrive at 11:30 am. We highly recommend taking a ride share to Pier 40, however should you choose to drive, a gentle reminder - please take into consideration time to find parking and walking to the Pier!
We highly advise guests consider taking a Lyft, Uber, or Taxi to the pier. There is a small parking lot in front of Pier 40, but only harbor employees with a permit are allowed to park there. The public parking lots range from $10-20 per car and are approximately 5-8 minute walks (0.4 mile) to the pier.
We will be cruising around the San Francisco Bay the duration of the ceremony and reception. There are indoor and outdoor elements to the boat, so layers and comfortable shoes are recommended!
If you are concerned about getting motion or sea sick during the wedding, fear not! The team at Luxe Cruises strongly recommends taking Non-Drowsy Dramamine 1-Hour before boarding. If not taken in advance, then there is a high likelihood that the symptoms could worsen. Luxe Cruises are not allowed to administer drugs onboard per Coast Guard regulations.
Please see the “Travel” tab of our website for hotel recommendations within 15 minutes of Pier 40.
The menu will consist of a few heavy appetizers, a grazing station, a carving station, and assorted desserts. There will be a hosted bar with a variety of refreshments offered throughout the duration of the reception. If you have a severe food allergy that we should be aware of, please contact Jill as soon as possible!
We are more than happy to account for plus ones for our single guests (those with one name listed on the invitation)! Please note on your RSVP how many guests will be in your party. The Yacht does have a strict maximum capacity, so unfortunately surprise guests will not be allowed on board.
