We are getting married!

Larissa & Ian met in high school and started dating on February 8th, 2013 (Although Ian argues it was February 7th..) Their first date was at The Cheesecake Factory, and Ian had to drive because Larissa was only 15 :) They continued to date long distance throughout college and made many 6 hour treks between Champaign and East Lansing, with a lot of Facetime calls in between. Long distance wasn't easy, but eventually Ian graduated and the trip to Chicago from Michigan State was a lot closer. Fast forward to 2020 - Larissa & Ian moved in together and as you all know adopted Minnie the Vizsla! They are currently living in Bucktown and love the little family they have created so far.

Ian proposed with the help of his brother Ryan (best man) and sister-in-law Amanda (bridesmaid) on 7/31/2021. They all had brunch plans together and they asked Larissa to take them all to the dog beach beforehand so that Ryan and Amanda can check it out in the case they bring their pup to the city sometime. They said they wanted to make sure it was fully fenced in before they came to the city with their dog... (Larissa thought this was weird but she rolled with it). Once they all got to the beach, Ian got down on one knee and popped the question! To continue the surprise, all of their friends were waiting at the apartment to celebrate. It was truly the best day ever.
