Our story began in the hot and humid city of Columbia, South Carolina, where Tori and Brett’s paths cross in a serendipitous twist. Tori, a spirited Southern belle, met Brett, a dedicated Air Force pilot, while he was stationed where she was currently living. From the moment they met, their connection was undeniable. Early in their relationship, Brett felt compelled to share the bittersweet news that he would be moving to a new base in New Mexico in just six short months. Despite the looming distance, both Tori and Brett chose to remain optimistic, embracing every moment they had together. Their time together was a whirlwind of laughter, adventure, and deepening love. Brett said he first fell in love with Tori on their first Valentines Day, where they celebrated with a cozy cabin getaway in Maggie Valley, NC (where they got the inspiration for their pup's name). Tori realized she was falling in love with Brett a month later when she found herself (and one of her best friends Jennifer... thanks Jen) driving all the way to Birmingham, Alabama to see Brett while he was on an assignment. Not sure if you have been there or not, but honey, there is nothing to do in Alabama... so this says a lot about her love for him. When it came time for Brett to move to New Mexico, the two decided to see how the relationship would withstand long distance, and it went flawlessly. After a year of racking up frequent flyer miles, Tori decided to join Brett out west. On November 3rd, 2023, in Breckenridge, Colorado Brett asked Tori to marry him in the most breathtaking location! Which brings us to the present day, where the happy couple is planning their dream wedding to celebrate their love with their dearest friends and family. As they prepare to embark on this next chapter together, they are grateful for the magic that brought them together and excited for the future they’ll build side by side. “Let all that you do be done in love.” Corinthians 16:14
