Answer

We ask that our guests adhere to a black-tie dress code for the wedding. Expect to see tuxedos with nice bow ties or a simple long black tie. Formal elegant gowns are encouraged. All black wear is strongly encouraged. Please Google "black-tie attire" if you have any further questions.

Question

Can I come to the wedding?

Answer

Francine and Ethan would absolutely LOVE to have your support at their wedding ceremony. It will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, a public space. All the information for the wedding ceremony is located on the website. The wedding reception however is by invitation only. The couple has a plethora of loved ones from New York, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey just to name a few places. If you cannot make it to the wedding ceremony in person, there will be a Zoom link that will be provided on the website closer to the wedding date.

Question

Where can I book a hotel?

Answer

The bride and the groom have arranged for a hotel block for a discounted rate. Please click on the travel tab to see all information regarding booking a hotel room.

Answer

18 Woodside Avenue, Patchogue, NY 11772

Question

Where is the wedding reception?

Answer

If you are invited to the wedding reception, you should receive an invite in the mail with the specific address information. If you have not received a personal invitation to the wedding in the mail, we would love to celebrate with you at our wedding ceremony, but please refrain from attending the reception. The reception is invite only.

Question

Where should we bring/ send our wedding gift?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home. Our address will be listed on all of our registries. If you click the tab labeled "Registry" you should have access to our multiple registries. A wedding card box will also be at our reception.

Question

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

Because of limited venue space, we unfortunately can't accommodate plus-ones beyond those named on the wedding invitation. We hope you understand our decision.

Question

What should I do if I have dietary restrictions or allergies?

Answer

Please notify the bride so we can take this into account.

Question

Are children allowed to attend?

Answer

We love your children, but due to space restrictions we cannot accommodate guests under age 21 on our wedding day.

Question

What type of food will be served at the wedding?

Answer

We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a buffet with a selection of meat, fish, and salads. We'll have food stations with several types of cuisine to choose from.

Question

Am I allowed to take photos at the wedding?

Answer

Yes! Please be mindful during the ceremony, however, to not be in the way of the paid photographers and videographers. Please do not use flash or anything that can distract the bride and groom during their ceremony.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. The bride and the groom will be in the kingdom hall for 15 minutes after the ceremony. If you are invited to the reception, please wait until then to take pictures with the bride and groom. This will allow those who aren't invited to the reception to be able to take pictures with the bride and groom. Guests can head straight to the reception hall, where we will be serving finger foods and beverages during cocktail hour.
