Ryan and Jay met originally as cosplayers that were mutual friends on TikTok. Over time they became friends on Discord, to meeting in person and falling in love.

Most of the wedding party all met through the same cosplay groups in a variety of ways and consider each other chosen family. These are people that the couple could never not have present at the wedding.
