Wedding Day Wish

8.1.2020

We are overjoyed that the time has FINALLY arrived when we become Mr. and Mrs. We would like to welcome you with our kindest regards and we are beyond thankful that you want to be a part of our special day. There is nothing more exciting than knowing we will be spending our 1st evening as husband and wife surrounded by the people we love!

How We Met

2.26.2010

We met through a mutual friend at a high school basketball game. Chelsea was a freshman and Wes was a junior. We went on our 1st date on Valentine's Day in 2010, and we became "official" just two weeks later. We attended all 4 proms together, went to college together, and fast forward to 10 years later . . . we are ready to tie the knot!

The Proposal

10.27.2018

Wes planned out a "surprise date" on Saturday, October 27th since it was close to Chelsea's favorite holiday, Halloween. We took a helicopter ride around the city of Portland, which included a sighting of Cathedral Park and the St. Johns bridge. We had some time to kill until the next "surprise" of the day, so we ate our favorite food downtown (PIZZA!). Wes thought it would be a good idea to go check out Cathedral Park, which is where he got down on one knee! It was pouring rain, and yet he still convinced Chels to go walk around the park. There was only one other person in the park and Wes went up to her and asked her to take a picture of us in front of the brigde. Little did Chels know that it was a photographer waiting to capture THE moment. Chels turned and Wes was already down on one knee. With many happy tears from both of us, I said YES! We are SO excited to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with you! See you all in PDX!
