We were introduced to Foolish Craig’s by Brian’s brother, Jake and his girlfriend, Mik. Wonderful breakfast spot! You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu but they are well known for the crepes. Brian and Sarah’s favorite are the breakfast tacos. Fun fact: they were featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives
If you know anything about Sarah, she loves to read. She makes it a point to go to an indie bookstore in every city she visits. Boulder Bookstore is a 3 level independently owned bookstore that has something for everyone! If you love to read, check it out and get a book for the flight home.
The flatirons are a rock formation on the east side of Green Mountain in Boulder. You can get wonderful views from Chautauqua Park. They are a symbol of Boulder and have plenty of hiking trails. It is where Brian and Sarah had their engagement pictures done! If you are adventurous and love to hike, hop on AllTrails for all the cool hikes and views that are around the Boulder/Broomfield area. You won’t be disappointed!
Great taco place! There are a couple locations throughout the Denver area. This particular one is closest to the wedding venue. When Brian and Sarah first moved to Denver, they were walking distance to one of the locations and it was always an easy date night. Try the Paloma or the Fresh Serrano Margarita which are our favorite drinks!
Head on down to Larimer Square to be in the heart of Downtown Denver! Denver got its start on Larimer Street between 14th and 15th in the late 1800s. Named Larimer Square for the pioneering General William Larimer, it was the city’s first block, its first commercial district, home to its first residence and first city hall, and was the city’s first designated historic district. This is a pedestrian friendly place to walk around and check out different shops and restaurants.
If you find yourself closer to the Denver area, Denver Biscuit Company is a must eat! You cannot go wrong with any of their biscuit breakfast sandwiches. Their cinnamon roll is also amazing. You won’t be disappointed!
