Emily and I met as suite-mates in our dorm freshman year of college. We instantly bonded over our love of Disney, Harry Potter, and reading in general. We strengthened that bond by deciding to live together for all four years of college, where we weathered all kinds of ups and downs together and always had a ton of fun! We now live on opposite coasts but I'm still so lucky to call Emily one of my best friends and I love that we get to spend fun reunions together in Disney World, Nashville, and hopefully many more!

I know David and Emily as David is daddy's friend. We loved playing prisoners with Emily and David - and Emily quickly overtook as favorite! I am 8 (by the time the wedding comes) and I love to play games - my favorite is Headbands. One of my favorite TV shows is The InBESTigators, and is about a group of school kids that solve mysteries! I love to dance and play in the park and cannot wait to be a flower girl!!!!!!!!!! SO EXCITED

I first knew David when he came to stay during hurricane Irma and David and Em were a new thing. Then Em bravely moved to Florida, and we were so happy and became fast friends sharing a love of Disney, board games, and making fun of Florida - while also loving it! I am a teacher of high school and former "real" scientist, so David makes sense to me - well, sometimes! We currently live in London and are cannot wait to be part of The Wedding of the Year!

I was lucky enough to work with David at Harbor Branch and spend time with David and Emily in Florida. I worked with David for a little over three years, got to know him particularly well during a hurricane, and spent some great time with them both. They're two of the nicest people that I know and know that they'll live happily ever after.

I was born and raised in South Florida and am an avid saltwater aquarist with a particular passion for keeping coral reef tanks. I met David while we were both graduate students. We quickly became friends after discovering our shared interest in nerdy things like Marvel and Harry Potter. Enter Pokémon Go, a source of many fun outings. During David’s research, I accompanied him on many sampling trips. With all of the travel time, the topic eventually landed on relationships. After much back and forth about his best friend's sister, I told him he should go for it. Now here we are, David has another best friend and soon-to-be wife. When I met Emily, I knew she was the perfect person for David. She handled him better than anyone else I’ve seen! I wish them both the best in their future!

Hi, everyone!! My name is Sarah Mimnaugh and I am David's oldest (younger) sister. I am currently teaching Family and Consumer Sciences at Lemont High School and love to cook/bake, put together puzzles/crafts, or clean in my free time. When David first told me about dancing with Emily at Will's wedding, I could tell how much he already cared for her. From the day they went out on their first (virtual) date, their love has only grown exponentially and it is so clear to see. I am beyond thrilled to soon call Emily my sister! Hello everyone, I’m Kara! I have known Emily for 21(!!) years when we first met in our OG Brownie Troop 239. Our paths crossed in many different ways before we even got to high school, from singing Girl Scout songs to becoming Marching Knight super fans and cheering on our older siblings! In high school, some of my favorite memories with Emily centered on our themed costumes, like the Von Trapp family at band camp and our teachers (which actually, was VERY convincing) at Social. After high school, we went our separate ways to different Big Ten universities (Boiler Up! 😉) but remained close friends until we were reunited again to enter the adult world. Through spending time with David, he and Emily are THE perfect match, and I can’t wait for them to begin their forever life together!
