After careful consideration and with heavy hearts, we have decided to postpone the celebration of our wedding. As part of the postponement, we will be sending out new invitations to all guests. This will give us an opportunity to monitor the public health response to the pandemic and ensure you are able to enjoy yourself worry-free!

Theo & Tonika were married in a private ceremony on April 17, 2020. We can’t wait to celebrate our marriage with you all soon!

On the anniversary of the day Tonika & Theo made their relationship "social media official" they got dressed and prepared to attend the Black History Month Gala. Theo told Tonika that his linebrother, Darius (groomsman), was coming to take pictures of them before they left -- one of which would capture this really great angle down the hallway. So, Tonika walked to her spot at the top of the hallway and posed -- thinking that Theo was standing behind her doing the same. After a few photos, she turned around to check her handsome man out, and there he was -- on one knee. She cried, and screamed, and cried, and shouted "OF COURSE!” after he asked for her hand in marriage - and they were engaged.

Lamario (the Best Man) told Tonika that his fraternity was hosting a resume building event that he recommended her to present at. Shortly after, he hands Tonika the phone to talk to his linebrother that was responsible for coordinating the event. His name was Theo. September 25th, Tonika showed up to Lamar Hall and that’s when Tonika & Theo met. I guess you can say the rest is history.
