A Tinder success story! Skyler and AJ went on their first date on January 18th, 2016. The plan was just to get some lunch and go wine tasting... but they ended up going to lunch, 4 wineries, Avila Beach, going to dinner, walking around downtown SLO, and driving to Morro Bay to walk around the boardwalk, resulting in a 12-hour first date. I guess that was a good sign. Almost 4 years later, on December 16th, 2019, AJ proposed to Skyler at the end of a weekend getaway to LA where they had attended a concert of their favorite band, went to Disneyland, and played a round of disc golf at the first ever disc golf course before heading home. While they were playing the course, AJ pretended to fall while throwing his disc. Skyler went over to see if he was okay, and he shifted onto one knee and shocked her as he asked her to marry him. After a big “WHAT?!” in surprise, she said yes! Now on May 22nd, 2021, they are getting married and can’t wait to share this part of their story with you!!!
