Please save the bride and groom the heartache and RSVP honestly. We understand that the pandemic has impacted everyone differently and, while we will miss you if you can't attend, we completely understand!
At this time, we are asking guests to keep face coverings on during the ceremony. (Bridal party members and the immediate family of the bride and groom may be the exception to this.) During the reception, we ask that you try to keep distance from people that you don’t know personally and keep in mind some people won’t want to shake hands or take their masks off. We will have disposable masks available for anyone who needs one.
Hang tight, your wedding invitation will indicate the ability to bring guests along with you. Things like venue capacity and wedding budget were the basis of these decisions.
Yes! If your kids have been indicated on your invitation, we welcome them to join us during both the ceremony and the reception! However, keep in mind, that we can’t ensure every song will be kid-friendly. Also, note that our guests will be enjoying drinks from the bar!
Business casual attire is perfect for our laid-back, bohemian wedding. For the guys, this means no jeans but even jackets are optional! Gals, please remember to stay comfy enough to hit the dance floor!
The Farmer's Market is an indoor venue with a covered patio. The ceremony is to be held outside on the covered patio and the reception will be held inside.
We will be paying the gratuity for our bartenders! If you would like to leave them something extra, PLEASE let Kait, Jairo, or Kait's Parents know. We will ensure it gets to the right people. We do not have the proper permits for us to be able to hand cash to the catering/bartending staff.
The Farmer's Market has a small parking lot for the building. When that is full, the city hall parking lot and the Sunrail station lot are both within walking distance to the venue. Overnight parking is not permitted at the Farmer's Market, if you intend on drinking please arrange other transportation accommodations as all cars must be moved by midnight.
Yes! We have designed a buffet menu (served by catering staff) with our caterer and will have an open bar as well.
Please contact Kait’s mom, Ann Marie Handwork, at 240-413-5642 for additional questions. Let her know who you are and that you got her number from the wedding website. If she doesn’t have the answer, she’ll know the person who does!
