Why Greece?

Answer

South Carolina or South Africa would be equally difficult for at least half our guests. A visa to Greece is easier for some and a beautiful destination for all!

Greece is far. What if I can't come?

Answer

Please don't feel pressured. We understand Greece is far for many of you. We plan to have 2 additional wedding receptions: South Africa - April 18th South Carolina - May 2nd We want to to celebrate with as many of you as possible!

Do I need a visa to visit Greece?

Answer

For American Citizens: No, as long as you stay fewer than 90 days, no visa is needed! For South African Citizens: Yes, you will need a Schengen Visa. Other Nationalities: Please check your requirements online.

I'm confused - where is your registry?

Answer

Since we live overseas, we’re not doing a traditional gift registry. Instead, if you feel led to bless us in a tangible way, we would be deeply grateful for contributions toward one of two areas close to our hearts: Bakita’s Education Fund: This is to help support the long-term care and schooling of the young girl God brought into our lives during a defining season of our relationship. Christian’s Immigration Expenses: This is to help with the legal and travel costs as we navigate life and calling across countries.

Is the Ceremony outside?

Answer

The wedding venue has multiple locations on the property, both indoor and outdoor. Since the wedding is in early April, we will make a decision the night before. Either way, our Greek Garden party will be an adventure!

Are children allowed at the venue?

Answer

Yes, in fact childcare will be provided free of charge!
