We understand and respect all concerns relating to the ongoing pandemic. We, in no way, wish for any one of our guests to feel pressured into coming to our wedding if they are uncomfortable with it. We will not be requiring guests to wear masks, but encourage it for those who feel the need. We will have hand sanitizer and a limited amount of cloth masks available at both the ceremony and the reception for those who wish to have one or forget their own. We will be keeping the venue at less than half capacity, so there will be plenty of room for social distancing after dinner. For those of you who wish to not attend due to Covid concerns, please know that we will not be upset with you and we are working on a way to have our ceremony filmed/broadcasted for those who wish to remain at home.
Dressy-Casual, please. Ladies should wear sundresses or dress pants and a blouse. Men should wear a button-up shirt and tie with dress pants. Coat optional. Grace Valley Farm has an abundance of outdoor areas for us to use. Because of this, stilettos may not be the best choice of footwear. Please dress comfortably enough to be able to walk on gravel and grass as both may be required to reach the ceremony and reception locations.
When visiting the RSVP tab on this website, you will be prompted to enter your first and last name in order to view your RSVP form. This form will show whether or not a guest has been added for you. If only your name shows, we would prefer just you.
Yes! Both the ceremony and the reception will be held at Grace Valley Farm in Shelbyville, TN. However, the ceremony will be taking place on a different part of the property than the reception.
After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking photos for about an hour. Guests can head straight to the reception barn for food, drinks, dancing, and fun!
YES. All children from babies to teenagers are welcome to join us on our special day. Coloring books, colored pencils, and other forms of entertainment will be provided for our younger guests. All we ask is that parents keep a watchful eye on their little ones so damage occurs to neither the venue property nor the bride and groom's set up. If any damage occurs to the venue on behalf of a child guest, the parents will be expected to help with the cost of the damages. Note for the parents: There will be an open bar at the reception. Please keep this in mind when deciding if you would like your child(ren) accompanying you to our wedding!
