FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, the dress code is semi-formal. We ask that attendees match the color scheme of the wedding, which is: emerald, blush, rose gold, black, or any neutral colors.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

RSVP's are to be confirmed by April 30, 2024. Respectfully, we are given deadlines from our vendors and need to meet our deadlines. Unfortunately, if your RSVP is not confirmed by this date, you will (unfortunately) be removed from the guest list and you’ll receive a message from the bride and groom.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The Wedding begins promptly at 3:00 PM. We encourage all guests to arrive and be seated by 2:45 PM. Respectfully, doors will close allowing no entrance into the chapel once the ceremony begins. The ceremony will take place indoors with a reception to follow. Parking is free and available in the front of The Bowden Wedding and Events venue.

Question

Can I bring a date/plus-one?

Answer

While we would love to share our wedding day with the world, we prefer that attendees refrain from inviting a plus-one as we are only able to accommodate the guests that are included on your invitation under the RSVP tab. If you received a plus one, their name will appear under your name when you RSVP.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Your invitation will include your children's RSVP. If you decide your child(ren) will NOT attend the wedding, we ask that you please communicate, so we can keep an accurate count of guests that we are expected to accommodate for the ceremony/reception.

Question

Is this an unplugged wedding?

Answer

Our photographer and videographer are responsible for capturing the essence of our day. We would love to see all the pictures/ videos that were captured by some of our guests. However, we ask that you be mindful of the photographer and videographer whom we have specifically chosen to professionally capture our special day. We are perfectly OK with you snapping pictures and recording videos with your phone after we say "I DO" and the duration of the celebration.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Beginning in July 2024, we are leaving Dallas to begin a new life together in Maryland. We do not have a registry as we plan to start fresh. Therefore, only monetary gifts are requested for our new venture in Maryland and our honeymoon. Our PayPal is: @DrewandRoniBenjamin Our Venmo is: @DrewandRoniBenjamin Your contribution towards our move to Maryland and our honeymoon can be found on the 'Registry' page.

Question

If I am in the wedding, do I need to RSVP?

Answer

Yes! Every attendee needs to RSVP to be accounted for.
