We met while teaching together at West Buffalo Charter School, and didn't think anything of it through our first year of working with 20 kindergarteners. As the summer came, it became pretty clear how much we both loved being around one another. We quickly became regulars at Frankie Primos, went on many hikes (getting lost more times than not), and things "just clicked". The rest is history! And has been filled with too many laughs, sicilian manhattans, and sweets after ALL dinners.

May 13 is Jeff's birthday and little did Stephanie know that the picnic she had planned at Hoyt Lake would become much more than a birthday celebration. Jeff chose the perfect spot, and Stephanie gathered all the wines and cheeses. Once settled, it seemed as though Jeff could only carry on conversation about what street they were on (as Stephanie sat, entirely unaware how nervous he actually was). Next thing she knew she was reading a poem out loud that Jeff wrote for her- something she is usually expecting on HER birthdays. By the final line she looked up to see him on a knee, asking her to be his wife. It was the easiest, happiest yes! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you! GO BILLS!
