We're getting Married!

Mayce and Wayne met when Mayce came to Grundy R-V Highschool as a freshman. They didn’t get to know each other until their senior year, which is ironic in a class of twelve people. The two hit it off as soon as they started hanging out. On February 18, 2019, Wayne asked Mayce to be his girlfriend, and then on July 24, 2021, he asked her to marry him!

On July 24, it all started with the sudden idea to make s'mores after dinner. Wayne asked Mayce to go help him build a fire for the s'mores, but of course, she said, "no it’s hot outside". He kept asking, so she finally went with him. Mayce wasn't paying any attention to what Wayne was doing until she turned around and saw him on one knee! She said yes, and then they celebrated with s'mores!
