We’re getting married!!

Luke and I met in a very traditional way, even though we are not a traditional couple. We met at a wedding back in 2018 that we were both in. Neither of us were looking for a relationship when we met, but look at us now, ha! We met on the dance floor when I forced him to dance with me. Luckily for him there was booze involved so it wasn’t so bad for him. We went on our first date two days after we met. We made plans to go out the week after, but we couldn’t wait. By we, I mean me, I was very impatient to get together. We went to Toot’s and I showed him around MTSU and we talked for hours. It was like I had known him for years. So here we are going on year three! We knew very early we were each other’s person. We have had many adventures over the last couple of years. Between trips to Gatlinburg, finding our new favorite cider place, going to hockey games, many concerts, and so much more! We are beyond excited for this next adventure!

We got engaged a year and half after dating. We planned a birthday trip for Luke’s 27th to Gatlinburg for April 2020, right as the world was shutting down due to the pandemic. Or so I thought it was a birthday trip. Little did I know Luke had a whole other plan! We had a couple friends come with us on the trip. The next day we all got ready go into town and go for a hike. On the walk Luke and I were getting our pictures taken when he told me how much he loved me and wanted to spend the rest of his life with me. It was the easiest yes I have ever said!! And the rest is history!
