The currency used in Colombia is the Colombian Peso (COP). You can take Colombian Pesos from the U.S. by requesting them at your local bank or preferred financial institution, or you may opt to exchange USD to COP once you land in Colombia at the airport. Credit/Debit cards are also accepted at most places, however it is recommended to carry some cash on hand. La moneda utilizada en Colombia es el peso colombiano (COP). We request formal attire for our wedding. Given the climate, we do suggest lightweight and breathable fabrics for comfort. For men, a suit with a light, breathable button down shirt is a great option. For women, an elegant dress or gown is recommended. We kindly request you avoid wearing wear white, cream, or ivory as well as gold as these colors are reserved for the bride and bridesmaids. Solicitamos vestimenta formal para nuestra boda.
