Q&A

The Wedding Website of Sarah Almaguer and Marco Barraza
DRESS CODE: NASHVILLE HOT! We can’t wait for our family and friends to get dressed up with us for our big day! The dress code is semi-formal or cocktail attire, and we’d love for guests to incorporate our favorite colors: pink and orange. Need inspiration? Check out our Pinterest board for ideas on what to wear! https://pin.it/CAyWgWxvz We can’t wait to see your "Nashville Hot"!
Question

What does a semi-formal dress code look like?

Answer

For men, this could mean a suit or a dress shirt with trousers. For women, a nice cocktail or maxi dress, or somewhere in between.

Question

What should I NOT wear?

Answer

We hope this day is a chance to dress up and have fun! Please avoid white, full green or tan/beige suits, and jeans.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be at the same location and indoors.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts promptly at 5:00 PM, so we recommend arriving 30 minutes prior to find your seat and enjoy a little time to mingle before we begin.

Question

Anything we should know about drinks and dancing?

Answer

Get ready to move! We’ll be playing a mix of cumbias, reggaetón, hip-hop, and R&B, so wear your dancing shoes. Drinks will be flowing all night at our open bar, and we encourage bringing some cash for tipping our amazing bartenders and for a fun tradition later in the evening: the Baile del Dólar (Dollar Dance). Don’t worry...everyone’s clothes will stay on, just lots of love, laughs, and a little cash love for the newlyweds.

Question

Will there be a hotel block?

Answer

We've currently listed some recommendations in the Travel section. Use the following link to book our block with Element Hotel: OR ENTER GROUP CODE: AGBAGBD https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://www.marriott.com/event-reservations/reservation-link.mi?id=1759247923977&key=GRP&app=resvlink__;!!FOfmI8qiWcWBHqypJtzENF0!2tGdjxkB3xR62z9wT9lnNmDS1D2_8YqqlPTYK6OoipAph7LQ-DJVY9HRp3j7-uRwF5VuNZb38sZ3NhpqBB8N9lkth7L6lcs3HEA$

Question

Where do I park?

Answer

If you've rented a car, or have your own, there is venue parking on the lefthand side of the building.

Question

Will there be additional Wedding Weekend festivities?

Answer

Yes! We will be hosting a “Welcome Party” and celebrating Marco’s BSN Graduation on Broadway the night before! Meet us there to kick off the weekend, grab a drink, bar hop with us, and celebrate all the big moments together before the big day!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If you received a plus one, it will be noted on your Save the Date and when you RSVP....but we can talk ;)

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We decided to keep our wedding an adult-only event, with the exception of our ring bearers. We hope you understand and enjoy a night off! If you have any concerns, please let us know!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Formal invitations will go out in January 2026, and RSVPs will be due by March 28, 2026.

For all the days along the way
