Are kids allowed?

Answer

While we adore all of your little ones, because we both have such large families, we did need to make the decision to have a childless wedding. Invitations will specifically name those invited. We appreciate your understanding!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 4:30pm! If you could arrive no later than 4pm so everyone can be seated. If you are only coming for dinner and the reception, cocktail hour ends at 6pm!

What do I wear?

Answer

Our dress code is formal attire! Break out those gorgeous dresses and suits!

The ceremony will be inside!

Can I still come if I don’t RSVP in time?

Answer

Unfortunately, we have to have our final numbers to the venue and catering companies by the RSVP date. If you did not RSVP by that date, you will be deeply missed at our wedding!

Do you have a block of rooms reserved at a hotel?

Answer

Yes! We have reserved a block of rooms at the Cobblestone Inn & Suites in Boone under “The Braunschweig wedding”

If the blocks are all reserved, where do you recommend we stay?

Answer

There are very nice hotels in Ames or Story City! I also recommend checking Airbnb or VRBO!
