We met on August 23rd, 2017 at a restaurant called Modern Market in North Austin. Before we met in person, we had met on an online dating app. Considering our busy lives at the time, we didn't have much time to date and therefore had the same idea of meeting new people online. Regardless of how we started talking, our first date was amazing! We had a late lunch and talked about everything we could for 4 hours. I don't think either of us were expecting to click like we did, but it was amazing chemistry. I don't think we wanted the date to end. A week after that first date, we had a second date on my birthday, which Casey made incredibly romantic. Our relationship grew over the first month and soon enough I knew I couldn't live my life without him. I know Casey felt the same because here we are, inseparable.

On April 18th, Casey came down to San Marcos to visit me while I was working on my finals. We agreed we go and enjoy the square, especially since it was my last year at Texas State. We went to a couple bars, had some drinks, and then we decided to take a stroll around the downtown streets of San Marcos. I told him about a beautiful white gazebo down by the river, so we went there. Slow dancing amongst the stars in the gazebo by the river, it doesn't get much more romantic than that. As I went to change a song, I turned around and there I saw him on one knee with a diamond ring. Immediately, I felt tears in my eyes and before he could finish the question I already said yes! From that moment one, we were engaged. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you! See you at the Falls!
