There is a family golf tournament played the Friday after Thanksgiving.

Moody Gardens Golf Course

We like to go walk around through the holiday lights display on Friday night after the gold tournament or Saturday night.  There are street performers and delicious vendors.  There are usually even ice sports - sledding and ice skating.
