Hello! We are excited to have you join us on our special day!
There are a lot of options for lodging (including hotels, VRBO's and Airbnb's) on the North side of the lake. Incline Village, Kings Beach, Carnelian Bay, Tahoe City, Truckee, Olympic Valley, North Star and Crystal Bay are good places to start. If you enjoy camping, there are tons of campgrounds around the area as well.
Pending on what your plans are, there are some things to note:
- South Lake Tahoe is about an hour drive from Carnelian Bay
-Truckee is about 25 minutes from Carnelian Bay
- Reno and Carson City are both about an hour drive. With that being said, you will have to go over the mountains each direction.
- Lyft and Uber can be limited in the area
- There are SO MANY Airbnb's around the lake
In terms of airports, Oakland, San Francisco, Sacramento, and Reno are all airports that can be options.
Places will be filling up fast since this is a popular destination.
