Can you be a little more specific about the dress code?

Answer

Absolutely! Semi-Formal with lawn appropriate footwear meaning tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. Please keep in mind that the celebration will take place on grass and uneven ground as the venue is a barn/farm so please choose footwear accordingly. These are just guidelines so please wear whatever makes you feel the best.

What is the best way to get to the wedding venue?

Answer

Great question! The best way to get to the Faulkner House is by car. There is plenty of parking, but not a lot of Ubers in the area. Driving times vary depending on traffic and where you’re coming from. It is about an hour from Los Angeles, 45 minutes from Montecito, and 20 minutes from Ventura. We recommend checking real-time traffic from your specific location, as LA-area drive times can vary quite a bit. Please reach out if driving is not an option for you, and we can help set up a private driver.

I'm confused, why are we staying in Montecito when the wedding is in Santa Paula?

Another great question! Montecito is fun and wonderful and lovely, and it is also where Zach and I celebrated our engagement. We love it there and we know you will too! Santa Paula is also an easy drive from Ventura or LA, so please stay wherever is best for you.

I'm California sober, will I be able to light up at the wedding?

Answer

Love that for you! Unfortunately, the venue has a strict no drug policy, so please refrain for the night.
