Tim began working for the Arizona Department of Emergency and Military Affairs in April 2020. By that time, employees were working from home fulltime due to the pandemic. We first knew each other as coworkers, working together in a virtual setting. Assigned to the same task, we got to know each other quickly and friendship developed. We met in person for the first time in June and spent time together as friends for the first time in July. From then on, we knew we had a special connection. Tim proposed in November 2023 at the creek near the Joynt family cabin in Show Low, AZ (the place where we first spent time getting to know each other as more than coworkers). We are looking forward to our next adventure...life as husband and wife!

While we love being wedding guests, a big wedding just isn't us. We will be having a small, intimate ceremony at a tiny roadside chapel near Flagstaff, AZ with our immediate family. We hope those of you who are not included will understand...we would love to celebrate with you the next time we see you.
