we're getting married!

Becky and Seth met on the very first day of their freshman year at Impact360 Fellows, and what started as a simple introduction quickly turned into a meaningful friendship. Before they knew it, they were inseparable, laughing through classes, deep talks, and plenty of inside jokes. They bonded over their shared love for Jesus, people, art, and anything that could make them laugh. When the school year ended, their friendship didn’t take a break. The summer was spent visiting each other’s families, making memories, and realizing they didn’t really want to do life without each other. Then, on an August evening in 2024, Seth finally said what Becky had been secretly hoping to hear. He was in love with her. From that moment on, Becky and Seth officially became a “thing.” Their love story continued at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona, where dates, studying, and falling more in love became part of everyday life. Eventually, life brought them back home to Georgia, where they are finishing their degrees and dreaming about the future. On Christmas Day 2025, Seth pulled off the easiest surprise of his life by asking Becky to marry him, and she said "yes" without hesitation. Now, they are counting down the days to forever, grateful for God’s faithfulness, lots of laughter, and the adventure ahead.

As we prepare to begin our life together, we are so thankful for the love and support of our friends and family. One of the greatest gifts you can give us during this season is prayer. Marriage is a beautiful calling, and we want to build our relationship on Christ as our foundation. We wanted to write some specific ways that you can be praying for us. We would be so grateful if you would join us in praying over our hearts, our future, and our journey into marriage. That we would grow closer to Jesus and seek Him continually throughout our engagement. We pray that our marriage would be built solely on God’s love for us, and that His word would guide every decision we make. That our home would be filled with worship, joy, laughter, and peace for all the years God gives us together. We desire for our household to be a place where His presence is felt and honored. That God would open doors for an affordable and safe place for us to live. As we look for our first home together, we pray it would be close to our families and jobs, and that God would provide exactly what we need. Nothing fancy - just His perfect provision. For guidance through our studies as we both pursue degrees in teaching. We pray for endurance, wisdom, and positivity as we work toward our goals. We are so grateful for the opportunity to receive an education and want to steward this season well. That God would prepare our hearts for one another as we enter marriage. We believe marriage is a calling from God and a unique relationship unlike any other on earth. We pray to love each other deeply and selflessly. To model Jesus’ love as best we can to one another, and to be slow to speak, slow to anger, and quick to forgive. “The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you” - Numbers 6:24-25 “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.” - Romans 8:28 Thank you so much for praying for us.
