FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than September 10th, 2026.

Question

What happens between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Following the ceremony, the couple and wedding party will be taking photos (we’re saving the first look for the aisle!). Because of this, there won’t be a formal cocktail hour. Guests are encouraged to take this time to relax, explore, or enjoy a drink at a nearby local spot. We’ll be joining you shortly after to enjoy dinner together!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are planning a small, intimate celebration with our closest family and friends, and unfortunately are only able to accommodate those listed on the invitation. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Only the children named on the invitation are included in our guest list. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal to formal. Our entire ceremony will take place outdoors regardless of weather. We just ask that you skip white (and anything close to it) so we can keep that colour reserved for the bride. Please keep in mind the terrain may be uneven, and October in Coe Hill can be chilly—plan your attire and footwear accordingly.

Question

When is the celebration and dancing?

Answer

Our ceremony and dinner will be a more intimate gathering. The following week, we’ll be hosting a formal reception with drinks, dancing, and a full celebration—we can’t wait to party with you then!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please let us know in the RSVP tab if you have any dietary restrictions and our caterer will accommodate.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or dinner?

Answer

As the ceremony is taking place on family property, parking is somewhat limited. We encourage guests to ride together if they’re able. There is ample parking available at the Bancroft Curling Club for our wedding dinner.
