When should I arrive to the island?

Answer

We would like to welcome FAMILY to come a few days before the wedding to spend extra quality time together before the wedding weekend is over. We would like to welcome FRIENDS to stay after the wedding weekend for a few days to continue to celebrate and spend time together.

What should I bring to Hawai'i?

Answer

Clothes: Hawai'i can get chilly at night depending on what elevation you are staying at. We recommend bringing a few layers so you can be comfortable in all weather. It also can rain sporadically so bring a rain coat! The UV index is also very high so bring a hat, sunglasses and sun gear if you are planning on adventuring outside of the date of the wedding. Toiletries: Please do not bring sunscreen. If you purchase sunscreen here it will ensure that it is healthy to use in our oceans and not damage our coral reef.

A few things to know about Hawai'i

1. We have fungus that kills our native trees so if you are going to hike, please let us know and we will supply you with a decontamination kit for your boots. 2. Don't take rocks or sand when you leave. 3. Please do not stand on the reef when swimming in the ocean. 4. Bring reef safe sunscreen. If you cannot find this in your area, you can readily find it on island.
