Malabar Farm State Park
One of my favorite Ohio State Parks. Founded by Louis Bromfield in 1939. Visit the Big House where Humphrey Bogart tied the knot in 1945. It is also a still active sustainable farm, tons of adorable animals and let's not forget the sugar shack where they refine the maple syrup tapped from trees in the farm, which is of course available in the visitor center! Several scenes from The Shawshank Redemption were shot on or around the farm. On top of all of that the trails are simply gorgeous. Highly recommend this park!

Hungry at the castle? Well is this the restaurant for you! Located on the castle grounds. We really enjoyed the food and cocktails here.
Mohican State Park
A huge park with several beautiful trails. You can see multiple water falls, the gorge and simply bask in the beauty of the Mohicans.
