Becky and Justin met working at UCLA. Becky was new to the Patient Placement department and Justin was working as a Critical Care Transport dispatcher. For nearly six months, they sat right behind each other before Justin finally asked Becky out on their first date: a Dodgers game. It turned out to be the perfect first date. Becky grew up a huge baseball fan and loved going to Yankees games with her dad, so it felt like a sign from the start. From there, everything just clicked. Becky and Justin quickly realized how much they had in common— from their love for dogs, working out, eating healthy, and being near the beach, to their shared passion for travel and furthering their careers by going back to school. They kept their relationship a secret at work (which made it even more fun) until they got engaged. In May, Justin moved in with Becky in Hermosa Beach, and just a couple months later, in late July, he proposed during a beautiful sunset at the beach.
