In the middle of worldwide pandemic, two lonely people downloaded a dating app and found each other. Due to Covid, they couldn’t meet during Ivan’s first visit to Alaska. Buuuut they couldn’t seem to stop talking to each other. After much discussion making sure neither would murder the other, Ivan visited Becky in AK. And then Becky visited Ivan in MI. They flew back and forth, chatted in spite of the 4-hour time difference, and even road tripped through California. Becky got tired of long distance, though, so she moved to MI. On her 30th birthday, after dinner and champagne, Ivan proposed with Becky’s great-great-grandmother’s ring. She said yes! We are so excited to start building a life together in Alaska. We’re honored by everyone attending!
