FAQs

Question

What can we expect from this town-hall wedding? I've never been to one!

Answer

Our wedding will be broken up into three parts: The ceremony, the dinner and the party. We chose a town-hall wedding because it felt most like us. The ceremony will be quick, casual and then we will head to dinner all together. Think of a London Date Night - but with friends and family :)

Question

Are kids invited to the wedding?

Answer

Whilst we love your children, due to space restrictions we cannot accommodate children on the day. Thank you in advance for understanding!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is formal attire - we hope to have lots of bright, autumnal colours throughout the event. We can't wait to see your dresses and suits.

Question

When do we need to get to Islington Town Hall?

Answer

The wedding ceremony starts at 4pm but please get to the venue no later than 3:45. The room that we are getting married in is called the "Council Chambers". See you there!

Question

Do you have any suggestions of where to stay in London?

Answer

We would recommend staying in one of these neighborhoods: Islington, Angel, Kings Cross, Holborn. These are all close to our wedding venue and also central enough for you to have things to do later that week/weekend. That being said, our venue is pretty central so you can stay anywhere in central London and get there fairly easily. Feel free to text us if you have any questions here!

Question

What is the easiest way to get to the wedding venue?

Answer

This will depend on where you are staying in London. The closest tube/overground stop is Highbury & Islington, and the venue is central enough that it is easily reachable by uber as well.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We are keeping our wedding intimate and therefore it is invitation-only. This is also largely influenced by space restrictions in our venue. We appreciate in advance for your understanding!
