What is the dress code?

Answer

Black tie optional! What does that mean? Basically cocktail attire and above. Embrace the beginning of summer on the Summer Solstice with vibrant colors, patterns - whatever makes you feel best. Our groom will be wearing a tux. If you have one and want to wear it, please do!

Can I bring a plus 1 or my children?

Answer

Please refer to the names(s) on your invitation. Due to space constraints we will not be able to host additional guests.

Will there be transportation?

Answer

The hotels we chose are within a mile of the venue. If you are staying there or elsewhere in the city, Uber/Lyft/Taxis are plentiful. Please give yourself AMPLE time to get to the Chicago History Museum - we've got Cubs game traffic, summer Friday city traffic, and Billy Joel/Stevie Nicks concert traffic.

Is there parking at the Chicago History Museum?

Answer

Public parking is conveniently located one block north of the Chicago History Museum near Clark and LaSalle streets at 1730 N. Stockton Drive. Parking is $10 with validation at the front desk of the Museum.
