We first met in 2012 in the emergency department at St. Anthony Medical Center. Alex worked as a medical scribe and Becky worked as an EMT, and we bonded over the shared experience of MCAT studying and applying to medical school. Our relationship continued to flourish as we both attended medical school and now residency. We look forward to many more years together!

Alex proposed on Valentine's Day 2018 after working all day and driving 3 hours to surprise Becky. He made arrangements for Becky's family to be there waiting so they could capture the whole thing on camera! He originally proposed with a strawberry ringpop (Becky's favorite) before pulling out the real ring!
