FAQs

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

Due to limited space at our reception hall, we regret that we cannot accommodate all guests' children. However, some children have been invited to both the ceremony and reception, and this will be indicated on your invitation. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to sharing our day with you!

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

We plan to have an outdoor ceremony, weather permitting. Our reception will be indoors!

Question

How far is the venue from New York City?

Answer

Camp Hope is about a 2 hour drive from Harlem in Manhattan. If this is your first time to the East Coast or if NYC is a dream destination for you, we encourage you to add it to your trip!

Question

Is the venue accessible for guests with disabilities?

Answer

Yes! Our ceremony and reception spaces, bathrooms, and parking areas are all accessible. Please keep in mind however that Camp Hope is a summer camp, so the walkways and roads are not paved.

Question

What time will the reception end?

Answer

Our sendoff will be at 10 PM, but we know that some of our guests with families may need to leave before then. Please feel free to celebrate with us as long as you are able!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our dress code is semi-formal, so many will wear suits and dresses. However dressy separates are welcome! When choosing shoes, please keep in mind that the venue is unpaved.
