Question

We know that our wedding is non-traditional...

Answer

Our wedding is very non-traditional and out in the elements, so if it doesn’t feel like your vibe, no worries—we completely understand! We know it’s not for everyone. While we’re excited to invite people we love and care about, we also understand if you can’t make it or feel it’s not your scene. Either way, we’re just grateful to have you in our lives! But if you have any questions that are not answered here, please DO NOT hesitate to reach out to us: Becca: (831)-345-1797 Kekoa: (805)-703-0107

Question

What is Harford Pier like?

Answer

Harford Pier, located on California's beautiful central coast near Avila Beach, is a charming harbor known for its stunning views, serene waters, and relaxed atmosphere. It's the perfect spot to enjoy coastal activities, watch sea life, or simply soak in the natural beauty of the area. Want a glimpse of what Harford Pier is like? Question

What is a paddle out?

Answer

A paddle-out is a beautiful tradition often held by surfers and ocean lovers to honor someone or mark a significant occasion. While many paddle-outs are done as memorials, ours is a joyful celebration of our marriage! During the paddle-out, friends and family will join us on surfboards, paddleboards, kayaks, or anything that floats, forming a circle on the water. It’s a moment to reflect, celebrate, and share positive energy as we begin this new chapter together. We hope you’ll join us—whether on the water or from the shore—to make this a truly memorable and unique part of our wedding day! Still not sure what to expect? Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

There’s no formal dress code—just dress for comfort and warmth! For those joining the paddle-out ceremony, we recommend wearing a wetsuit or clothes you’re okay getting a little wet. If you have an inflatable paddleboard, feel free to bring it along! For those watching from the pier, no need to worry about fancy outfits—just dress warmly and comfortably. No heels, dresses, or suits are necessary; think casual and cozy!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we kindly ask that little ones sit out the paddle-out ceremony for safety reasons, they are welcome to join us at the brewery afterward. Please note that the reception is designed with adults in mind, so it might not be the most exciting for kids, but they’re certainly welcome to celebrate with us!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We kindly ask that you check with us before bringing a date. We’d love to prioritize space for long-term partners and spouses, but feel free to reach out if you have any questions!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

While there are some great hotels in the area, it might be easier (and more fun!) to book an Airbnb in Avila or San Luis Obispo (SLO) for a more relaxed stay. If you prefer hotels, in Avila we recommend the Inn at Avila Beach, Avila Lighthouse Suites, or Sycamore Mineral Springs. In SLO, check out Granada Hotel and Bistro, San Luis Creek Lodge, or TownePlace Suites. For even more options, visit our 'Travel' page!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Of course! Please message us ahead of time with your specific allergy, and we’ll do our best to ensure there’s something delicious and safe for you to enjoy. 😊
