Candice

Matron of Honor/ Big Sis

“There is no better friend than a sister, and no better sister than you!” Growing up, Candice was a role model for Courtney—as she still is today. Court always aspired to be just like her. Candice is smart, and funny. She is kind, but stands her ground. She taught Court how to be competitive, and helped coach her throughout the years. Not only was Candice a soccer coach, but she also coached Courtney through heartbreaks, schooling (with the exception of math), and self-love. Courtney knows how blessed she is to have grown up with such a caring sister, who has become an amazing friend.

Rachel

Bridesmaid

“They say nothing lasts forever …dreams change, trends come and go, but friendships never go out of style.” – Carrie (S&TC) Courtney met Rachel back in 2011. They went to MonsterFest, watched The Little Mermaid, and the rest was history. In fact, it was through Rachel that Courtney would meet the man of her dreams.

Kelsey

Bridesmaid/ The One Who Is My Adventure Partner

Courtney met Kelsey through Michael. Kelsey started dating Brandon (groomsmen) not long after Michael and Courtney started dating. Kelsey is a wonderful person. She is adventurous, has a huge heart, an Aussie Lover, and motivates Courtney to explore the great outdoors.

Morgana

Bridesmaid/ the one who I’ve known since Kinder

Morgana and Court have known each other since Kindergarten. The picture is actually a photo that they took on the first day of school at McSwain. While they were always friends, Courtney would be fortunate enough to become very close with Mo in high-school. Morgana's wit, attention to detail, and ability to give great nicknames is something that made them so close.

Amanda

Bridesmaids/ the ones most likely to stay friends forever

Amanda and Courtney became friends in 6th grade. Tim (Amanda's dad) coached them for softball. They remained close all throughout high-school, and actually got voted “Most Likely to Stay Friends Forever” for in their senior yearbook in 2009. No matter how much time they spend apart, they always pick up right where they left off.

Ashley

Bridesmaid/ The One Who Is My Dance Partner

Courtney met Ashley in fourth grade. They played soccer together, and were both defenders. Later, in college, they spend the weekends dancing at Old Town Saloon and would Binge watch Netflix-- usually Dexter. They bonded over acne products, makeup, and "Vines". Courtney practically lived at Ashley's apartment throughout college. Ashley is hilarious, and her laugh is contagious.

Karissa

Bridesmaid/ The Kind One

Karissa was one of Courtney's first neighborhood friends growing up. They listened to a LOT of *NSYNC together, and played an endless amount of Mario Party. Karissa was one of Courtney's first friends that brought out her competitive side. Karissa has always been one of the kindest people that Courtney has ever met. Courtney admires how genuine she is.

Becca

Bridesmaid/ The Sister To Be

Becca is Michael's youngest sister, but she could probably beat him up. She is a stud athlete, and even is a Highlands Game Champ! This girl is someone who Courtney can really laugh with. She’s always down to have a good time, is a fellow sweets lover, and enjoys a good dance party. Courtney is looking forward to having another awesome sister.

Carl

Best Man

Cousins by blood, brothers by choice. If you know Michael...chances you know Carl. The two have been best friends since birth and done/seen a whole lot together along the way. Through thick and thin, the ups and the downs, these two have and will always have each other’s backs.

C.J.

Groomsman

“ Mr. Magooey” Michael and CJ met at Fresno State, where these dudes had to sleep in bunk beds and share a tiny dorm room together. As you would expect hilarity ensued and they had some awesome times together. They’ve both come a long way since then and have stayed close over the years.

Brandon

Groomsman

Boy, oh boy...Brandon and Michael. These two have certainly had some adventures together. They met playing T-Ball at age 5 and grew super close after high school, essentially living out of Brandon’s Tacoma for weeks at a time. They’ve both grown up a lot (thank god) and are still BFFS.

Jguwon

Groomsman

It all started on the Shaffer elementary track about 25 years ago...since then Michael and Jguwon have become super close and even developed an enviable secret handshake. Whether it’s golfing, dancing, singing karaoke, or just hanging around, these guys always find a way to have a great time together.

Tom

Groomsman

If there is a such a thing...Tom is Michael’s spirit animal. These two love to get together to cook or BBQ and get down on some highly competitive rounds of pool, darts, dice and even the occasional game of sorry.

Wade

Groomsman

Michael has been friends with Walter for 14 years. They grew close working Summers together and enjoying various after work activities. Wade can’t catch very well or play Omaha, but he makes one heck of a spinach dip. He has been a true friend to Michael throughout the years.

Billy

Groomsman/ Brother In Law

Michael lucked out inheriting a brother in law like Billy. The two found out fast that they have a lot in common. Over the years they’ve had some great times on all the Beckman-Dutra family trips, especially when they went to LA and got kicked out of an all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ restaurant for eating too much.

Mike

Groomsman

Mike is another one who Michael befriended while attending Fresno State. They are known for singing classic rock songs together at an obnoxiously loud volume and going off on sarcastic tangents that no one else follows, but they find hilarious.

J.J Sandavol

M.C/ Honorary Groomsman

D.J. Cubed and Michael have been great friends for over a decade. Like most of Michael’s friends, they have some great laughs and a mutual appreciation for music. They don’t get to see each other as much as they’d like, but that might be a good thing, because when they get together, they make it count! #kadinkers. Sidenote: JJ taught Courtney how to mop.

Dutra Girls

Flower girls/ Nieces

Michael and Courtney are so happy to have their nieces in their wedding. Mackenzie (8) is the oldest. She is kind, funny, and is an excellent soccer player. She will be in third grade and is hoping that she will be in her Aunt Court Court’s classroom. Halle (7) is the middle child. She is definitely her aunt's mini me. She is sassy, smart, and knows what she wants. Brynlee (5) is ready to start school. She already knows how to read, and she enjoys keeping up with her big sisters. These three girls are loved dearly.
