A future love story between two children each enrolled at Sunday School at St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Medford, NJ. Knowing of each other but never talking, it wasn't until a College Graduate Lunch where a true connection would be made.   Beckie was clearly "making eyes" at Brandon all lunch, and Brandon had to find a way to ask for her phone number before the lunch was over.  Successful, they met for coffee the next weekend (for 4hrs) and a new adventure was underway.

Brandon took Beckie on a picturesque date in Philadelphia, to a rooftop dinner at The Revolution House.  After dinner, they strolled along Penn's Landing - Brandon's opportunity to do it at sunset on the river.  As they sat along the river's edge, Beckie, demonstrating clear patience and restraint (sarcasm) at the magic hour,  intensely interrogated Brandon. Frustrated that he hadn't proposed already, she threatened (several times) to throw him into the water.   Unbeknownst to Beckie, Brandon's opportunities for proposing kept getting interrupted by a crowded restaurant, a loud ferry, and crowds of people.  Once the ferry finally departed the dock from where they were sitting, Brandon kneeled with the sun setting on the Delaware and surprised Beckie!  Beckie began profusely apologizing and crying (truth).
