It was hot summer night in Manhattan, actually summer day, because it was a day party and Chris was celebrating his birthday at a RnB Party. To the right of his Baller section was Alex's friends who were also celebrating a birthday. He couldn't help but notice her beauty and asked her for a slow dance. One thing led to another and he stored her number as "potential friend". Potential friend led to fiance' and since then he hasn't missed one "Good Morning" text.

On a random Monday Chris decides today is the day to pop the question. He tells Alex they should have a picnic in the park after work in which she excitedly agrees. Alex gets off early and decides to visit her mom in Brooklyn, buy groceries and return an item at HomeGoods then obviously returns after running errands. He calls saying he is still working from home on their apartment rooftop. Alex disappointed that plans have changed, changes her clothes to something more comfortable, throws some snacks in her purse and heads up to the roof. Upon arrival, she notices rose petals, lights and pictures and Chris nervously walking towards her. What he says next is between the love birds but just know that she said YES!
