What's going on??

On June 10th, 1994, and June 22nd, 1998, Ronel Zachariah Samuel and Rebecca LouBelle Carlson-Lee were respectively born, and the world was forever changed. They floated through life, surviving and seizing days, narrowly missing each other on several occasions. Finally, in February of 2024, their lives collided. Still many miles apart in Buffalo and Philadelphia, their relationship slowly bloomed. After many dates, several anxiety attacks (cough-Beckey-cough), and an upgrade to a three-bathroom home (a Ron requirement), your favorite multicultural couple started telling people they were going to get married. And this brings us up to speed! A wedding is going on!! Woohoo!!!

What should I wear?

Answer

Dress code is cocktail attire. We would love to see you in any shade of green or purple! The venue is mostly outdoors, although every location is covered and has a solid floor.

What gift should I get?

Answer

The gift we would appreciate the most is your presence! Our registry (see the tab above) has a travel fund and a few bigger-ticket items we would use and appreciate. Additionally, here are some of our hobbies and interests, which may inspire other gifts: - hiking and camping - going on road trips - backyard grilling and hanging out - playing board games - cooking (we have a Dutch oven, several cast iron pans, and now a kitchen-aid stand mixer!) - eating at interesting new restaurants in Philadelphia - traveling (domestic and eventually international!) - being nerds about Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, chemistry, and psychology - spending too much mental and physical energy at work Thank you for your generosity and thoughtfulness!

How will I get to and from the venue?

Answer

There is ample parking at the venue if you would like to drive yourself or drive with another party. There will also be a shuttle bus departing from the hotel (Spark by Hilton Lancaster Dutch Country) at 3:15pm, and returning later in the evening.

What is this India wedding I keep hearing about?

Answer

We are planning a second wedding ceremony in India over Thanksgiving 2027! We understand that this event will require extra consideration and planning, so we are sharing it early.
