FAQs

Question

When and where do I RSVP?

Answer

We kindly ask that you RSVP on our website by March 2, 2026. You are more than welcome to RSVP sooner!

Question

What if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed, but we completely understand. Please RSVP "no" as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 PM. Please arrive no later than 3:45 PM to allow time to park and find a seat. Due to pathway layouts, all walkways leading to the ceremony, including the main driveway, will be closed at 3:55 PM. No late entry into the ceremony will be permitted.

Question

Does the venue have parking?

Answer

Yes! There is parking onsite in a grass lot behind the venue.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Due to limited space, we kindly ask that you only bring those formally invited on your invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear when you RSVP.

Question

Can I bring my child?

Answer

While we love the little ones, we want you to relax and celebrate without a worry, which is why we've decided to make this adults-only, with the exception of a few older family members. We appreciate your understanding.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is garden party, with a Shire twist. Think breezy silhouettes, pastels, and florals, or consider what you'd find the hobbits wearing at Bilbo's birthday. Cloaks welcome! Ladies: Flowy dresses, lighter materials, or any other semi-formal dress or separates. Gents: Lightweight suit in lighter colors, vest with white button up, or any other semi-formal attire. The ceremony will be outdoors in the garden. Please take this into account when choosing shoes!

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We kindly ask that you enjoy this special moment with us and leave all cell phones or cameras in your purse or pocket during the ceremony. After the ceremony, we encourage you to take as many pictures as you'd like!
