We have reserved a room block for Friday and Saturday nights at the Holiday Inn Lancaster under Beckert-Williams Wedding. Located in the heart of downtown Lancaster, the hotel offers comfortable accommodations and convenient amenities, including an on-site restaurant and bar, indoor pool, fitness center, and parking. It is just 0.5 miles from St. Mary’s Catholic Church (approximately an 11-minute walk) and 0.3 miles from Excelsior (about a 7-minute walk), making it an easy and walkable option for the wedding weekend. Please note that any unreserved rooms in the block will be released on August 4th, so we recommend booking by then. Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square is a historic, upscale hotel in the heart of downtown Lancaster, offering spacious rooms, on-site dining, a fitness center, and a rooftop bar with city views. While we did not reserve an official room block at this hotel, it is the closest option to St. Mary’s Catholic Church—just 0.2 miles away (about a 5-minute walk) and only 700 feet from Excelsior (approximately a 3-minute walk). Because rooms are not reserved, we recommend booking early if you’d like to stay here.

Although we do not have a room block at Lancaster Arts Hotel, it’s still a fantastic option for guests looking for a unique stay and a true taste of Lancaster. This stylish boutique hotel is located just outside downtown and features rotating local art displays and modern, comfortable rooms. Parking is available on site, and the hotel offers a relaxed, creative atmosphere for your weekend. It’s about 0.9 miles from St. Mary’s Catholic Church (a 21-minute walk or 6-minute drive/ride-share) and 1 mile from Excelsior (a 23-minute walk or 5-minute drive/ride-share), making it a walkable option for those who enjoy a bit of a stroll.

Lancaster Station
Lancaster Station is a convenient option for guests traveling by Amtrak. Located just 1.3 miles from Excelsior (about an 8-minute drive), the station offers direct Amtrak service from Philadelphia in a little over an hour and from New York City in just under three hours. Lancaster is also well connected to other major cities via easy transfer options, making train travel a stress-free and accessible choice for out-of-town guests. For those who would like a car during their stay, Hertz Rent A Car is available right at the station. Otherwise, downtown Lancaster, the wedding venues, and local hotels are all easily accessible by Lyft or Uber, making it simple to get around without a car if taking Amtrak to Lancaster Station.

Lancaster Airport (LNS) offers convenient flight options for guests traveling from out of town. Breeze Airways operates direct, nonstop flights between Lancaster and Orlando, making it an easy option for guests coming from Florida or those turning the trip into a longer getaway. Please note that Breeze flights operate on select days and may be seasonal, so we recommend booking early and confirming schedules when planning your travel. In addition, Southern Airways Corporation operates commuter flights out of Lancaster Airport. Guests flying with American, United, or Alaska Airlines can connect to Southern flights through these interline partners. From Lancaster, Southern Airways offers direct service to Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) and Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD), providing easy connections to major cities across the country. For guests who would like a rental car for the weekend, Avis, Budget, Enterprise, and National all offer on-site rental car services at Lancaster Airport. Hotel shuttles from the airport are also available to the Inn at Leola Village, Lancaster Arts Hotel, and Eden Resort, all of which are within 20 minutes driving time of downtown Lancaster and are great hotel options in the area. Harrisburg International Airport is located approximately 33 miles from downtown Lancaster (about a 40-minute drive). On-site car rental options include Alamo, Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Hertz, National, and Payless. For guests hoping to enjoy a car-free weekend, the Middletown Amtrak Station is just 2 miles from the airport and easily accessible by Uber or Lyft. From Middletown, it’s a little over a 20-minute train ride to Lancaster Station, making train travel a convenient and stress-free option.

PHL also offers direct, nonstop flights from London Heathrow (LHR), making it an easy option for international guests coming from the U.K. PHL is located approximately 70 miles from downtown Lancaster (about a 1.5-hour drive). For guests planning to drive to Lancaster, a variety of rental car companies are available at the airport, including Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National, SIXT, and TURO. For guests who prefer not to rent a car, there are convenient options to reach Lancaster. The Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) operates the Airport Regional Rail Line between the airport and William H. Gray III 30th Street Station, where guests can connect to an Amtrak train to Lancaster. Trains run approximately every 30 minutes between the airport and 30th Street Station. Airport stops include Terminal E/F, Terminal C/D, Terminal B, and Terminal A (East). Guests can take SEPTA to 30th Street Station and then transfer to Amtrak for the approximately 1-hour ride to Lancaster. Alternatively, guests can take an Uber or Lyft directly from the airport to William H. Parking
For guests driving to the wedding, there are plenty of convenient paring options in downtown Lancaster. St. Mary’s Catholic Church has a garage right across the street, and nearby metered street parking is also available (free on Sundays), with additional municipal garages within walking distance. For Excelsior, the closest garage is the East King Street Garage (448 spaces) across the street, with the Penn Square Garage just a block west as another option. Downtown also offers other city garages and surface lots, plus short-term metered street parking, giving guests plenty of flexible choices for a stress-free weekend.

Shuttle
Please note, there will not be a formal wedding shuttle to or from St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Excelsior, local hotels, airports, or train station, but many hotels do offer private shuttle options. If you’d like to arrange a ride, we recommend calling your hotel directly to see what is available — it can be a convenient way to get around the city and travel during the weekend.
