Following that, Smash shoved a whole sushi roll in her mouth at lunch, then they went to a Brewers Game together, and then Chanel convinced Smash to move into her resident hall... and the rest is history.

Shortly after college, Austin & Brandon started working at Frito together. It didn't take long for them to realize they had a life-long friendship no matter how many miles or chip bags apart.

After about 26 years, Cherie & Chanel have accepted that they actually are similar and finally became best friends instead of frenemies due to being siblings. Cherie is now the #1 dog auntie and neighbor and will do just about anything for Chanel & Brandon, unless it involves a lot of socialization or too long of time away from her cats.

It was a beautiful, sunny day in their front yards when their bromance blossomed. Kyle & Brandon became roommates in college at UW-Whitewater after being neighbors. Through drinks, videogames, and heartbreaks, Brandon & Kyle have become inseparable. Even though it's been just over a year, welcome home & thank you for your service.

Even though they're several miles apart, every family gathering, trip up north, or girl's weekend, you'd think they've known eachother their whole life. Brandon met Doug, Chanel's brother from another mother, at the first friend/family gathering Brandon attended at Ott's Pond. Doug was super accepting of Brandon, welcoming him into the family right away, and invited him to be on his volleyball team. Over drinks, sets, and spikes, Doug and Brandon have become great friends.

Anya is Chanel's youngest niece, the Tik Tok queen, who will be tearing it up on the dance floor. One of the first moments Chanel knew Brandon was the one was the way he interacted with Anya and her sisters - he accepted and loved them immediately. In addition, Anya helped plan their whole engagement and managed to keep it a secret!

Brandon bought Tate's love with $10 for hotdogs at the off-road races in Crandon the first time they met. Though Tate might be young, he is very knowledgeable in everything he is passionate about - a trait Brandon admires. He may be Chanel's nephew, but Brandon loves him like his own.

Layna, also known as Smiles, Bugs, Our Little Survivor, and Layna Lou, is Chanel's oldest niece. They practically grew up together being only 6 years apart and she is the reason Chanel is who she is today. Brandon quickly became one of Layna's favorites- she loves when he plays with her, brings her Brenner's for supper, and tucks her into bed at night. When he's not around Layna knows that he's at work "playing with chips."

Collin is Chanel's cousin who also fell in the awkward age gap between grandkids and great grandkids - allowing them to bond over the years- from wiping out on their bikes on the gravel together to giving Grandma a heart attack with the lobster and snake toys.
