The Stonewall Inn
This bar is the site of the famous Stonewall Protests that were monumental in the LGBTQ+ rights movement. Facing much pushback these days, make sure to pay it a visit and support the local community. Good drinks, a pool table, cozy vibe, and a dance floor upstairs that hosts many drag shows and events. What else could you want?
Marie's Crisis Café
A fun piano sing-along bar that only plays show tunes. Great for you former (or current) theater kids!
MONO+MONO
A delicious Koren fusion restaurant that has floor to ceiling walls full of records shelves.
Bryant Park Winter Village
Okay, we know this is tourist-y, but it's a must! Shops, food stands, ice skating, hot chocolate, and all the things we love about NYC in the winter. (There is also a winter village in Union Square that's a bit smaller).
Rockefeller Center
Another tourist trap, but the tree really is spectacular. If you're going to be in the city for holidays, do it right!
