We kindly ask guests to wear cocktail attire. Dresses, jumpsuits, collared shirts, suits, or dressy separates are all perfect. Ties are optional — feel free to dress up in a way that’s comfortable but still celebratory. The ceremony and reception are at the Pavilion, so consider bringing a layer in case the mountain air gets chilly. Part of the venue will include gravel and uneven terrain. For your comfort and safety, we suggest avoiding thin heels or stilettos, and instead choose to wear flats, wedges, or block heels.
In true Virginia fashion… unpredictable. It could be 70 degrees and sunny, or it could lightly snow just to keep us humble. March likes to keep us guessing, so plan for anything: bring a layer, maybe a jacket, maybe a raincoat — possibly all three. Whatever the weather decides, we’ll be celebrating! The reception will be an indoor/outdoor party, but the Pavilion does have heat.
Yes! Please check the "schedule" tab for a list of events and times.
The Lydia Mountain Pavilion has its own parking area just a short walk from the ceremony and reception spaces. Parking is free and easy to access. If you’re staying in one of the on-site cabins, you can also park directly at your cabin and walk or drive over to the Pavilion. Carpooling is encouraged as parking could be limited. We will also have a golf cart if anyone has accessibility needs.
Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list due to venue size. Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.
Kindly submit your RSVP online by February 7th, 2026, so we can finalize numbers with our vendors. Thank you! You can access this on the "RSVP" tab on the website.
After the wedding ceremony, we will be serving light finger foods accompanied by an open bar.
Yes! Dinner will be served around 6:00 PM, with toasts happening shortly after. We’re excited to have Hank’s Catering providing a delicious buffet featuring chicken, barbecue, and a hearty vegetarian entrée. Will there be vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, or other special-diet options? Yes. In addition to the vegetarian option on the buffet, Hank’s Catering can accommodate most dietary needs, including vegan and gluten-free meals. Just let us know when you RSVP so we can make sure you’re taken care of.
