FAQs

Question

What is this event?

Answer

Ten years later, and it’s time to party! Whether you were at our wedding in 2016 or have joined our lives more recently, we want you there. No formal vows or ceremonies here—we just want to eat, drink, and dance the night away with you!

Question

Why Round Lake, Minnesota?

Answer

As many of you know, Round Lake is incredibly special to us. From Becci’s childhood summers to our early years of dating, this lake has been the backdrop of our story. Ten years ago, we exchanged our vows here, and we've continued to make memories here every summer since. We couldn't imagine celebrating ten years of marriage anywhere other than back at the lake.

Question

What time should I arrive to the event?

Answer

Feel free to arrive any time between 4:00 and 5:30 PM. Drinks and small bites will be available. We will have yard games and plenty of time to visit and catch up before dinner is served at 5:30.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Yes! If we missed adding a +1 to your RSVP please let us know so we can get them added to the guest list.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids are more than welcome to join the fun! Please note, the evening will include dancing and adult beverages, so parents may also choose to enjoy a kid free night out.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

There is no formal dress code - We suggest polished but comfortable attire, such as sundresses, jumpsuits, light trousers, or collared shirts. Most importantly, wear your favorite dancing shoes!"

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please note any food allergies or sensitivities when you RSVP. We’ll have plenty of options throughout the evening and will do our best to accommodate everyone!

Question

Are we supposed to bring a gift?

Answer

We’ve spent 10 years collecting memories, and plenty of things! Please, no gifts—just come prepared for good food, great music, and plenty of fun.

Question

What happens if there is bad weather?

Answer

We’re hoping for another 'perfect 10' day at the lake! Dinner will be indoors, but we will try to enjoy the lakeshore for games, mingling, and dancing. While we can't control the weather, we do have a plan in place. If it rains, don't worry—we’ll have a tent to keep the party going. If the weather gets more serious, we’ll reach out immediately with any updates or changes to the plan.
