Portland Head Light
Supposedly the most photographed lighthouse in the world. Who knows if that's true, but it is definitely worth checking out on a nice day. About 10 minutes from Portland, this is in Cape Elizabeth, where Becca is from. There are food trucks here, and it is a great spot to go on a walk or have a picnic.
Eastern Promenade
Spot overlooking Casco Bay, perfect to go for a walk or to have a picnic. There are usually food trucks here, too.
Commercial Street
Street by the water right in the Old Port. There's lots of places to shop, eat, and drink.
L.L.Bean
Need a picture with the famous Bean Boot? Need to pick up some snow pants for the winter? Head to LL Bean for all of your must-haves. It is open 24/7!
Hot Suppa
Great brunch spot in the West End. If there is a wait, pop into Tandem across the street for a coffee.
The Holy Donut
Even if you don't like donuts, you'll like these, which are actually made out of potatoes! You have to get them in the morning before they sell out, but they are worth the wait!
The Honey Paw
Delicious restaurant in the Old Port. Highly recommend the Khao Soi.
Portland Lobster Company
Delicious seafood right by the water. There is often live music, too. Recommend trying the Seadog Blueberry beer!
The Porthole Restaurant & Pub
Great for casual food and drinks, and it's right by the water. There's usually live music on weekends.
Street & Co
Delicious seafood restaurant. Reservations are recommended.

Tapas restaurant in the Old Port.
Eventide Oyster Co.
Pop in for a lobster roll, oysters, or any other seafood your heart desires.
Oxbow Blending & Bottling
Portland has tons of great breweries, and this is a favorite. They also have delicious fries from Duck Fat here. If you want to check out some more breweries, there are more within walking distance. Some recs are: Austin Street, Lone Pine, and Urban Farm Fermentery (for cider).
Bubba's Sulky Lounge
Please don't go here Friday, because you will not make it to the wedding on Saturday. But if you have some time, Bubba's is definitely worth a visit. It has 3 dance floors (yes, 3)...

Kind of cheesy, but a fun way to be a tourist and see Portland!
BayCycle Cruise - Portland's Party Boat
If you are here with a group, this is a lot of fun! You can book the whole boat for a private tour of Portland, or for outgoing folks, you can book individual seats and make friends. It is BYOB.
