We will be having an outdoor wedding! Take note of the weather for the day! Dress accordingly, including your shoe choice! Dinner is on the lawn. We've been describing it as cocktail attire; tie optional!
Waltman Lake Lodge is a 300 acre property with hiking trails, a lake, and many fun activities! (it did used to be an old camp) The historic lodge has a beautiful stamped concrete patio where our ceremony will take place (and dancing later!) and just steps away inside, is our cocktail hour! The pristine lawn area will then host our outdoor reception.
A few options! (look more on our travel tab as well!) There are so many great rental properties through AirBnB or VRBO that are in the surrounding areas! There are an abundant amount of hotels just a short drive! (look at suggested ones on the travel tab. BUT book wherever you'd like) We do not have any hotel blocks, so choose what fits best for you! AND if you have an RV/camper- call or text us! We might have available spots right on the property of our venue for you! (most have hookups!)
While we adore your little ones, our wedding day will be for invited guests only. If your child’s name is included on the invitation, we can’t wait to celebrate with them!
Come all the way into the venue until you see the big lodge on your left and the playground on your right! Continue on past that and you'll see a LARGE open field and parking signs! Park on the lawn in an orderly fashion! (aka, there's no parking attendants, so use your best judgement!)
