Lake Harriet Bandshell is one of our favorite places in the cities! We attend church here on Sundays in the summer, stop for a break on a walk or a bike ride around the lake, and of course - it's where we got engaged. :)
This picturesque bridge spans the Mississippi river, connecting the hip North Loop area to the historic St. Anthony Main neighborhood. With so much to explore nearby (the Guthrie, Gold Medal Park, Mill City Museum), this is a great way to kill an hour or two on a beautiful day. And make sure to admire the amazing skyline views as you walk across!
Nestled right on the outskirts of downtown Minneapolis, this park provides fantastic views of the skyline and ample photo ops - including the famous cherry & spoon, as well as the infamous blue rooster. If you’re up for more, cross the pedestrian bridge into Loring Park or head over to the Walker Arts Center for some mini golf on the rooftop!
